Mate keep up the good work. You do well. No one always wins but you gain more wins then loses and thats how you make money. Bertus 3rd October 2011.

My sentiments exactly, this is a free service and for those who choose to use it still need to reponsible for their choices....drives me f......k@#$ER%^&* nuts when people "get the sads" because they didn't win. Not once have you suggested, recommended, pushed for people to place large sums of cash on your recommendations. What you do say is place 2% thereabouts of your capital or pool whatever you want to call it, not the lot. Basically your strike rate for the win is pretty good and the place is great.Obviously some have themselves in a predictament which is unfortunate however not your problem. Keep up the good work and don't take whatever was said on board.   John 3rd october 2011

I want to thank you for your terrific work. I have been following your selection process for some time now and find your accuracy in picking winners uncanny. You have taught me to view horse racing investing in a whole new light. Keep up the good work and thanks again. I also enjoy reading your Ramblings particularly your latest, where you used Warren Buffet's methodology for investing in horse racing. I can relate to that. Ray 2nd October 2011.

Hayden I have been following your site for a while now and it is good to see you offering the services you do to us without expecting or wanting anything in return. I quite enjoy reading your insights into the world of punting. Keep up the good work, I for one appreciate it. Mark 2nd October 2011.

Hi Hayden, thanks for the winners today at Pakenham, had both of them for the win and as only backing them at the tab had them in an all up. Hopefully the last one will win as well and that would top off a great day.Cheers again if i ever have the pleasure to meet you my shout. Dale 6th March 2011

l am a big fan, loved listening to you all last year and this year still the same. You are very entertaining whether you realise this or not. l enjoy your honesty - l tell everyone about racestrat that will listen and how interesting the hole concept is - even Tom Elliot is a fan! (always loved everything about horse racing- must be a family thing!!) Try and not concetrate on the negative emails but remember this quote "In the practice of tolerance, one's enemy is the best teacher" Dalai Lama. Just letting you know that you have heaps of fans out there and l have your quote on my wall at work "on the Seventh Day, he did not rest ...." One of your Big Fans. Julie 1st March 2011

Hi Hayden, as a long time punter I truly know the difficulties involved, but have never experienced as much and consistent success until I started following your tips after hearing you on 3AW. Don't worry about the your current run of outs, things will improve, I'm sure. Because I only bet at the TAB I can only take the 'all-ups' if they're at the same meeting, hence I got a nice pay out from Eclair Mystic and Typhoon Tracey. You've taught me to be patient and be pleased with small consistent profits. Love your work. John 15th February 2011

Hello Hayden, There are many "knockers" in this world; I don't give a bugger what they think! You are doing a great thing and I'm happy to be a part of it with you. Bram 6th February 2011.

Why would anyone want to unsubscribe - you send some very amusing emails, sometimes from some not so nice people! Keep going - it's the long run that counts! Lynda 5th February 2011. Response to Craig's note of 4th February 2011.

Do not take any notice of these imbeciles who obliviously have got no skills to pick a winner, why don't they put there selections in print and you be the judge of how good they are / rather than them riding on your back and making gutless comments on email---why don't they go and subscribe for their tips and see how successful they are If you cant stand the heat get the ---- out Keep up the great work Cheers Alex 5th February 2011. Hayden, why even recognise the dolt, S.F.B. (S--t For Brains), by advertising his ignorance? The silent majority (plus me *S*) rules. As with a TV set, if what one sees and hears doesn't satisfy one's superior mental capacity, one has but to switch off! Go hayden, go! Frank 5th February 2011. Over the last year I’ve been a keen viewer and reader of your betting strategy, and your goal of raising funds for charity. I’ve enjoyed the way in which you have been so open with your bets, and agree that the ROI you achieve is massive. I congratulate you on your philanthropic approach. I’ve done some work in this area in the past, and can understand your reasons for doing so. I’m not a race goer, or a punter of any substance, but enjoy following a process or methodology. I also believe that it can be profitable, and as you say, tax free income. I do this with my share trading, which has an emphasis in money management and the preservation of capital. I’ve had little time to participate in betting this last year, however I plan to begin a systematic approach following you next year. I’m really looking forward to your book, which hopefully will give me a better indication of what goes on in the professional punter’s mind, how you set up your bank, and the money management strategies you employ. I also think that it would be appropriate to charge a fee for access to your information. Even if, as you say, you don’t need the money, I believe that if the information is valuable, then it should be paid for, otherwise it is devalued. Thanks again, looking forward to next year. Richard 12th December 2010

My name is Thomas and I have been following from the start of the charity challenge. I have never overly been interested in horse racing except for when the spring carnival comes around as I thought money cannot be made consistently from it. I was wondering if you are open or have ever thought about teaching someone the analyses/system you use for horse racing as I would be very interested (even if that means at a fee). I love the way you conduct it like a business and treat it as investing that is what has caught my eye and really intrigued me. PS. Once again good work on the charity challenge. Thomas 9th November 2010.

Hi Hayden, I've enjoyed reading your selections. Since I've been following you, your WORST return was 16%! I know you think it's bad, but I think it's amazing! I am quote thoroughly not a gambler - I split $2 bets to show- but I come from a family of horse race lovers and am a freak at analysis. You've inspired me to start my own racing analysis. I can't wait to hear how you develop your models, if you get to it. I'm having trouble finding downloadable American info but will work with simple free info to start me db. Tanya 9th November 2010
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Hayden, Congratulations on the result. I only wish I had more time to follow you on this journey. Work and a busy social life made sure that my punting was few and far between. I ended up losing most of my betting bank, but that was due to me trying to pick some winners on my own. Again, thanks for all your time and effort in running this little adventure. I still had fun and look forward to next year. Carlo 8th November 2010
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have only recently registered for your website, racestrat, but have heard you over the year on Derryn’s show and I wanted to thank you for the work you have done in both raising money for charity and providing free information on your “betting business”. I know nothing about horse racing but have enjoyed having a go over the past short while, using your information. For the record you had me up 50%, so, if you stop now and therefore I stop I’m a winner. Preferably you can go and people like me can hang off your coat tails and enjoy the ride on both the good and the not so good days. Best of luck for the future. Scott 8th November 2011
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well done Hayden A great effort and the next round is most generous. I sincerely hope your book captures an audience that are intrigued by the horses and enjoy a sense of humour!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please don't pay any attention to the fools. I think you're doing a great job. I look forward to seeing you tips. John 8th November 2010
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just wanted to say thank you very much for the tips. I got in to this late in the peice and not being a punter ... I've been on a steep learning curve. I must say though Hayden, I've thoroughly enjoyed it all ! You can count me in, as one copy of your book sold ! I look forward to you 'sharing' a few bets between now and the New Year ! It's not very often these days when you can get something for nothing, but you delivered ... and it is very much appreciated Hayden. Thanks once again for the 'ride' and all the very best for Christmas and the New Year. Like I said to you once before ... you're a bloody champion ! Tony 7th November 2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for all our time, dedication for the great service you offer free of charge. I wish you well for the future, keep up the good work for the "Charity Challenge". Hayden please remember those who want to make a difference "Do" and those who don't sit back and criticize and poke holes in every thing. What they don't understand it's not week by week but the end goal. Hugh 7th November 2010

I have been with you for some time and a strong supporter of you, I am very pleased that you are going to continue on from both the charity aspect and for myself, as I also treat this as a business (money making ) I was disappointed to read your emails that some people are so ungrateful whatsoever of your FREE NO CHARGE guidance of tipping, they should sign up and PAY for their tips from the so called experts, and from my experience do a lot worse, also what gutless types they are by not submitting their names. Is it possible to remove these people off your Email list, and form a group from your genuine supporters, which I would put my hand up for, I would be happy to pay for your services. Keep on being strong and positive, you are doing a great job. Alex 7th November 2010
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for the fun this year. Good luck with the book. I look forward to a receiving the heads up when it is available. Annette 7th November 2010
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have been drop of fresh air to me, I have been using your tips and I am having fun not just because they are free, its because you are getting results. I thank you for that hope to hear from you soon good and thank God for RaceStrart. Gerry 7th November 2010.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank-you Hayden, I think you are doing a fabulous job!!!!! I've only been on board a few weeks, but I'm loving receiving your emails, I don't always get a chance to place the bets, but the one's I have, have put a little in the kitty. In fact I went to Myer and bought the children some clothes this morning. So a big thank-you from me, keep up the good work, ignore the knockers as you said "If you're not happy, don't follow me. It's that simple" I'm looking forward to adding to my investment and reading your book once it's published. Shae 7th November 2010

Hi Hayden I am a man of few words but I would like to thank you for sharing your picks and doing something for charity. Also in the future if you organise a tipping service or a training program on your analyse system I would be very interested in participating. Don’t let the na sayers bring you down you are doing a great job. Oh yer.......... when is your book coming out as I would love to purchase a copy. Thomas 28th October 2010.

Hayden, Keep at it,I believe you are the best in the business, be positive this game is always going to be a roller coaster. Alex 24th October 2010

With your help I picked the Geelong cup Trifecta and got up in the last in Sydney for a return of over 600 bucks.

Thanks again mate !!!...Titch 20th October 2010

Hayden, you are a legend.....I have rolled with the losses........but loved the wins. I don't bet big, but I am loving your tips. I cannot believe that people would criticize you for your tips. You have impressed mates of mine who at first thought I had no idea (true, I had no idea), to them asking me every week for your tips. We are going to the Caloundra races this Sunday, so any forecasts will be appreciated. Keep up the top work, and give Derryn a high five and best wishes......Jason 5th October 2010
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Hayden, well done again, I follow your tips but not always your system. I had Herculian Prince in a quinella with the field which paid $62.69, then had a place bet only on Red Collossus. I spent sunday with my mother for her birthday and didn't get onto emails until too late to get your great winners at Flemington but just in time to take your advice with $10 on Workforce. I'm vey pleased, I've nearly tripled my bank. Lou 4th October 2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Hayden, I just checked out your website and it looks fantastic. Well done for all of your generous contributions to charity. I'm stunned that you do this for free. You are a very generous person to do this. I'll be following you with much interest from now on. Well done and congratulations on the outstanding work you do. Nick 4th October 2010

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You did pretty good this weekend, don't know how you can pick a winner in Paris but I had a feeling about it and put an extra $22 on the nose (my lucky number) all up a 110% return. Thanks!! John 4th October 2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have only joined your racestrat website recently, I am absolutely enjoying your tipping , I must say I also have backed your tips with great success. Congratulations on your high success rate and continue the great work particularly for the Charity Challenge.
Great Tipping. Alex 3rd October 2010

After reading your message yesterday I thought it only fitting to send you an email to say how much I am enjoying your selections.I haven't sent you an email before other than the one to add me to your list. I am a two dollar punter but I almost bet in most races on a Saturday and lost most weeks for years and years. I have tried just about every method of selection / system know to man. I had a sort of mentor punter in Brisbane that I used to corresond with via email but it got a bit funny after I had a betting bank with him which turned south and he still wanted to change my for his services after he lost my complete betting bank. I bet only the win selections you provide and a couple of other bets I choose and have greatly reduced my betting and wouldn't want to see you selections finish because I only now bet them and a couple of other picks most days. You are doing very well however I have missed quite a few of the additional selections which won of course after not seeing an email or due to work restrictions etc.. but thats my fault not yours. I used to pay for selection services similar to what you provide but found they are all rip offs- I have a disabled child with brain damage myself and I know that the charity selections is your main goal - but please dont give up on us small punters who are enjoying the selections and give us something to look forward too each day.Guess its time to say thanks for the days that your winners have either lessened my losses or given me a small increase to my betting bank from time to time.. Wish I could say they paid off my mortgage but it's not the case with me. I have had some profitable systems that I just dont have time to utilize to their full potential. Love to hear from you and would love to share a method or two as I have a few that I could share of course not that you need them. Keep up the good work mate. Craig 25th July 2010
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I first got on to you through Derryn's program just a short while ago,I think your doing a great job. Over the years I have paid for tipping services, and they where not very good in fact they where s--- . I'm sorry to hear how you feel about things but understand where your coming from, life in general is a bit like that people forget very easily and are not gratefull. I hope its only a few. So good luck what ever way you decide to do, even next year you might set up some kind of tipping system a paid one. I know you are not in it for the money, but it I think it would be good for the likes of myself and others who honestly appreciate your up front and openness to horse racing. Gerry - 25th July 2010
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just wanted to tell you that I was very impressed by your philosophy and professionalism when I heard you talking on 3AW. I also like the design of your website. Good Luck for the Charity Challenge and your future endeavours. Maree - 24th July 2010

I wrote to you recently about how I work at a xxxx. I wrote to you how people are selfish and dont understand what a punt is. I wrote to you about how to try and gamble sensibly by betting small affordable amounts and sticking to the strategy whatever it is. A brick at a time is what I wrote not a wall....well I applied this to the tips you've given me by only betting half the amount stated and today I bought my first decent pair of shoes in ages. I'll wear them to work next week and when I look down at them I'll think of you and thankyou for emailing those tips and I wish you all the best in the future if you do decide to pack it in. Santos - 24th July 2010

You have opened my eyes to responsible “punting” and minimization of risk. I am not a greedy man but do enjoy the occasional win. I am very grateful for your efforts and time. Don’t let stupid people bring you down. Laurie - 24th July 2010
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That sounds like you cop a bit of a hard time mate! I am really enjoying playing along with the challenge, and love what you are doing for charity. Kudos to you. And to any flogs out there that are giving you a hard time; it simply baffles me as to what logic they use. You are doing two things many people simply would not, an that is offer something for free, and something for charity. Whatever crap you cop- trust me I have told lots of people what you do, and you have a lot of support amongst my networks- and we all know bugger all about racing! We each do 50% of what you do for the challenge, and our commitment is to give 50% of what we win at the end of the challenge to our selected charity (MS Australia). So keep up the great work, and if you do decide to wrap up the challenge, do so knowing that many of us out here have enjoyed the ride. Shannon - 24th July 2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd like to thank you for sharing your tips with everyone.I believe that whether people win or lose is not as important as the fact that you have very good intentions. What you do takes a lot of time and you obviously enjoy people benefitting from your work. You're a good man. Jim - 19th April 2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You are providing a lot of people with a lot of fun following your tips best of luck for April. Laurie - 4th April 2010
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just a a brief note to thank you for the time to put into this challenge and the accompanying solid education that encourages responsible betting. Annette - 3rd April 2010
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't worry about the flack, your doing a good job.It always amuses me how people can complain about something that costs them nothing, especially when before each selection you state, BET AT YOUR OWN RISK. I am 73 and retired, each day your selections give me something to ponder and consider, plus add interest to my day. Its good fun.You win some, you lose some, that life. Keep up the good work. Frank - 2nd April 2010
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't take any notice of the knockers. I will bet that they are talking through their pocket and they have not followed the first rule of punting, establishing a bank. I think your approach is refreshing in that it is all out their, warts and all, no excuses or what if's. If I have one comment, and it is not a criticism, I think your all up bets are somewhat ambitious. Logic would say that you would rarely get them up, but when they arrive they pay well, a bit like the quaddie. As you don't lay out a lot of money on these exotic bets I suppose it is reasonable, but they do eat away at your bank.
Keep up the good work and good luck for this Easter weekend. Jim - 2nd April 2010
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are sticking with you! keep up the good work! 2nd April 2010
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I heard you on 3AW tonight. Don't let the "boofheads" get you down. I am more than happy with the journey so far. The fact is, some people want to see a grand return without the expense of time and a bit of patience. Even then, there are no guarantees. Money is like oxygen, you need a certain percentage of both, to survive. Laurie - 1st April 2010
